Navigator for CALA SR/CDR represents a first look at the T+A MusicNavigator app, which will become available towards the end of the year. At the moment Navigator for CALA SR/CDR is only compatible with the T+A CALA CDR and CALA SR devices, and does not feature the complete range of functions to be included in the full MusicNavigator app. The final app will provide a convenient wireless means of operating network-enabled T+A devices, provided that they are running the latest generation of the T+A Streaming Client (at present this applies to the MP 3100 HV, MP 2500 R, MP 2000 R MKII, R 1000 E, MP 1000 E, CALA CDR and CALA SR; a hardware and software upgrade is currently in preparation for the MP 3000 HV).
MusicNavigator will afford a convenient method of controlling virtually every function of these devices, even when there is no direct visual contact with the machines.
The app interface will also display information on the device status, the currently selected source, and the medium being played.
The integral Control Point function will enable the user to search easily through the music stored on UPnP services, and create Favourites lists and Play lists.
